Characteristics The phosphoramidite of the Near IR fluorescent dye, IRDye 800, can be used to label DNA molecules prepared in a DNA synthesizer. The dye is attached to the 5' end of the protected, support-bonded oligonucleotide via fast deprotection (Expedite ) phosphoramidite chemistry.
