Specificity A single arc was shown while the antibody was reacting with part-pure human IgG or normal human serum by Immunoelectrophoresis. Similar specific reactions were observed when the antibody was tested by western blot assay.
Characteristics IgY(Fc) antibody to human IgG is developed in duck by using purified human IgG as immunogen. Affinity purified IgY(Fc) is obtained by human IgG coupling affinity chromatography.
