HumanIgMIsotypeControl
詳情介紹:
Isotype | IgM |
Characteristics | Concentration Definition: by UV absorbance at 280 nm |
Sterility | Sterile filtered |
Background |
Immunoglobulin M is the largest antibody isotype and the first to be secrected against an initial exposure to antigen. IgM is predominantly produced in the spleen. IgM is formed from covalently linking 5 immunoglobulins together. Due to this large size, IgM is typically isolated to the serum. Human IgM (myeloma) Fc5μ fragment consists of only the μ (mu) chain of the Fc fragment. Synonyms: Human immunoglobulin M fragment, Fc(F,μ), (Fc),5μ |
Research Area | Secondary Antibodies |
Application Notes | Human IgM (myeloma) Fc5μ fragment can be used in Western Blotting and ELISA experiments as a control reagent. |
Restrictions | For Research Use only |

Precaution of Use | WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing. |
